Robert Joyce, chairman and CEO of Westfield Group, was elected chairman of the Property Casualty Insurers Association of America during its annual meeting in Boston this week.
John Blackburn, chief executive officer of COUNTRY Insurance & Financial Services, was elected first chairman and Janice Abraham, president and CEO of United Educators Insurance, was elected second vice chairwoman.
Mr. Joyce has over 25 years experience in the insurance industry and currently leads Westfield, a diversified financial services organization with over $3 billion in assets.
The Des Plaines, Ill.-based association also named Vincent Donnelly, president and CEO of PMA Capital Corporation, and Darin Kath, president and CEO at Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company, to its board of governors.
