Farmington, Conn.-based InsurBanc said it is introducing a new, free service that identifies ways independent agencies can save money and maximize their banking relationship.

InsurBanc said its “Get a Quote” service was developed to provide a comparison of an agency's current banking relationship with one from InsurBanc.

Agencies can call InsurBanc and receive a free quote on their banking relationship, learn how to strengthen their business by reducing costs, enhance revenue and improve efficiencies, the bank said.

InsurBanc is affiliated with the Alexandria, Va.-based Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America.

“We understand the unique cash management needs of the agency,” said Mary C. Grazen, executive vice president and chief operations officer in a statement. “We think it's time that agencies take a look at their own business and look for ways to improve efficiencies–in particular their banking relationship.”

The service involves a cash management specialist performing evaluation of an agency's current banking profile. Based on the evaluation, InsurBanc said it can recommend customized products that best meet their needs and provide an estimate of annual savings.

InsurBanc said its products and services include remote deposit, custom term certificates of deposit, money market accounts, a preferred interest rate on premium trust deposits and sweep accounts, and perpetuation and acquisition loans.
