The Professional Insurance Agents of New Hampshire Inc. said it will offer two educational seminars this fall on new workers' compensation requirements throughout the state.

The sessions will be held Oct. 10 at The Margate on Winnipesaukee in Laconia, N.H., and Oct. 11 at The Radisson Hotel in Manchester, N.H.

PIANH said the seminars will feature a discussion by a panel of experts on the key issues in workers' comp that will affect necessary coverage for clients.

Topics will cover repeal of executive exclusion, New York out-of-state policies, and compliance statements. Also, the new definition of independent contractor; employee posting requirements; personal liability of non-complying employers; certification requirements for state projects, and upcoming legislation.

The program will be moderated by Bruce Berke, PIANH legislative representative. Other invited speakers include:

David Wihby, deputy commissioner of the state Department of Labor; Katherine Barger, workers' compensation director of the Department of Labor; State Rep. Will Infantine, president of Aspen Insurance Agency; and Matthew Guilbault, PIANH government affairs counsel.
