The Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of New Jersey will hold their 114th Annual Conference Sept. 23-25 at The Borgata casino hotel in Atlantic City, N.J.
Four new continuing education courses for agency managers and agency staff will be introduced at the meeting, the group said.
Courses will include discussions of a new compensation model for the agency system; a discussion on the history, availability and solutions to properly insuring homes along the New Jersey coast; and a talk on coverage issues.
The meeting will also see the installation of new officers. William H. Malone Jr. of Continental Marmorstein & Malone in Paramus, N.J., will begin his term as IIABNJ chairman. Jacqueline Frank of Tri-County Agency of Bricktown, N.J., will serve as chairman-elect. Terry Ryan of Hanson & Ryan in Totowa, N.J., will assume the position of vice chairman; and Charles S. Stults III of Allen and Stults in Hightstown, N.J., will continue his role as state national director.
Brian F. Durkin of the Durkin Agency in Englewood and Ramsey, N.J., having concluded his term as chairman, will be named past-chairman.
