The Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters Society said James L. Britt has been named its 2007-2008 president.
The CPCU Society officers and governors were installed yesterday during the organization's annual business meeting in Hawaii.
Mr. Britt, a managing director with Marsh USA Inc. in Charlotte, N.C., succeeds Betsey L. Brewer as president. In addition, Marvin Kell was named president-elect, Douglas J. Holtz was named vice president, and Larry L. Klein continues his term as secretary-treasurer.
