New York-based insurance broker Integro Ltd. said it is opening an office in Vancouver, British Columbia–its third office in Canada–with the hiring of four individuals, all from Marsh Canada.

The four hires include:

o Michael Baddeley, named a principal, served as a senior vice president at Marsh and specifically focused on risk management.

o Norm Duncan, named a principal, was formerly a managing director at Marsh and focused on sports and hospitality with expertise in ski resorts.

o Roland Waldmeier, named a principal, has expertise in marine and construction coverage.

o Hayley Munchin, an associate, has 18 years insurance industry experience.

John Chippindale, president of Integro Canada, said in a statement that the opening of the Vancouver office not only opens markets for the broker in the British Columbia business community but will “establish a presence at the gateway to Asia and the Pacific Rim.”

Established in April 2005, Integro said it has now grown to nearly 400 employees.
