New York-based insurer American International Group said it will market five of its liability covers under a new brand.
AIG said it will begin marketing its directors and officers, errors and omissions, employment practices, fiduciary (PTL) and fidelity liability insurance and services under the new AIG Executive Liability brand.
The offerings marketed under the National Union Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburgh name will continue to be underwritten by the AIG Companies.
AIG said that its AIG Executive Liability will launch a new ad campaign and re-vamp applicable Web sites and other marketing materials to support the new branding campaign.
In other news, AIG declared a quarterly cash dividend yesterday on the company's common stock of 20 cents per share payable on Dec. 21 to shareholders of record as of Dec. 7.
