The Reston, Va.-based Association for Insurance Compliance Professionals announced that annual conference will be held this October in Portland, Ore. And will feature nearly 80 concurrent educational.

The group said the 20th annual gathering titled “Celebrating the Past, Planning for the Future,” will be held Oct. 28 – 31at the Hilton Portland & Executive Tower and 30 state regulators will be among those attending the event.

Joel Ario, acting Pennsylvania insurance commissioner and Susan Carnahan, president of Carnahan Presents, Inc., a professional trainer, author, and personal coach will be the AICP keynote speakers.

AICP said educational sessions, involving property-casualty and life and health will range from the beginner to advanced level.

Attendees, AICP noted, will have the opportunity to have a question and answer session with a panel of experienced compliance professionals and state regulators.

The organization said that state regulators in attendance will be participating in zone panel discussions, as well as one-on-one sessions with those attending.

Acting Commissioner Ario will also be participating in the Commissioners Corner session.
