Willis Group Holdings said it has changed the name of the Richard Oliver International Pte Limited captive operation to Willis Management (Singapore) Pte Limited.
The move was made to signify the close ties between Willis Singapore captive management company and the Willis Global Captive Practice, the firm said.
As part of the Global Captive Practice, Willis Management (Singapore) Pte Limited will continue to have access to the expertise of the 130-strong international team, the London-headquartered insurance broker said. Heading the office in Singapore is George Ong.
Commenting on the reasons behind the name change, Roger Wilkinson, managing director of Willis Asia, said the name change is consistent with the branding of the broker's worldwide business.
