JLT Names Hayes To Global Risk Post

Jardine Lloyd Thompson Limited said it has named Ron Hayes managing director of the global risk solutions division.

The unit he will head is part of the JLT specialist London market broker, and is a new position in the company, a spokesman said.

Mr. Hayes was until recently head of European retail placement at Marsh, responsible for implementing placement strategy and reviewing overall market trading relationships for all European retail business.

Mark Drummond Brady, International chairman of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group plc, said: “Global risk solutions is the division that manages our major corporate retail clients, and Ron's responsibilities will include the stewardship of existing clients, new business, market relationships and the development of our risk consultancy services.”
