Advanced EDR Systems, developer of highway safety technology, has introduced envisionCam, a dual lens camera installed in a vehicle that records aggressive driving behavior and accidents.
The device is secured behind the rear view mirror of the vehicle and stores the information, which can be wirelessly transmitted to a computer when it is within range of a specified wireless network.
The video captures events inside and in front of the vehicle. The video can be viewed using Advanced EDR Systems' software that features a custom player and a button that plots the path of an event using a satellite map.
