The National Conference of Insurance Legislators said it has named Mike Humphreys its director of state-federal relations.
In his new post, Mr. Humphreys will serve as NCOIL liaison to Congress, with emphasis on the effort to preserve state insurance regulation, the organization said.
Currently, Mr. Humphreys serves as an expert for NCOIL in the health, life and workers' compensation fields.
He will relocate to Washington, D.C. in the coming weeks, NCOIL said.
