Zurich Financial Services Group said it has named Christian Orator as its global chief claims officer, effective Aug. 1.
He will succeed Jane Tutoki, who was appointed chief claims officer for Zurich North America commercial, the company said.
In his new position, Mr. Orator, 44, will be responsible for leading a global claims network and driving continuous improvement in the group's claims capabilities and customer service.
He will report to John Amore, chief executive officer general insurance, and will be located in the company's headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland.
Mr. Orator currently heads special initiatives within the office of the group chief administrative office. He joined Zurich in 1989.
