Chicago-based insurance broker Hub International Ltd. said it has acquired Pueblo, Colo.-based Steel City Agency. Terms of the deal were not released.
According to the company's Web site, SCA was founded in 1930. Located in Southern Colorado, the agency focuses on manufacturing, construction, service and municipal clients, as well as risk management services to both commercial and personal insurance clients and customers.
SCA's four offices in Pueblo, Pueblo West, Colorado Springs and Trinidad, Colo., will expand the presence of Hub International Southwest. The agency's 45 employees will increase the Hub Southwest total number of employees to 230.
