Hilb Rogal & Hobbs Company said it has completed its acquisition of Charlton Manley Inc. Terms of the deal were not released.
The Richmond, Va.-based insurance broker announced plans to acquire Kansas-based Charlton in early June. The transaction was completed as of Sunday.
Founded in 1982, Charlton Manley reported over $10 million in annual revenues in 2006. Primarily a midmarket general lines agency, Charlton Manley's areas of specialization include construction, medical professional liability, truckers' liability, schools and school athletic programs.
HRH said the Charlton Manley firm and its staff of 70 will continue to serve clients from their existing offices located in Lawrence, Topeka and Overland Park, Kan., expanding HRH's current Kansas presence beyond Wichita and Pittsburg.
Charlton will be led by Gary L. Sollars, its chairman, and Duane Becker, its president. The firm will join HRH's central region under the leadership of its vice president and central regional director, William L. Chaufty.
