Accredited Holding Corporation Inc., in Winter Park, Fla., has been named one of the "Top 50 Women-Led Businesses in Florida" by the Center for Leadership at Florida International University and the Commonwealth Institute South Florida.
The property-casualty insurer ranked fourth on the list with revenue of $113 million. The "Top 50" is based on a statewide survey of female business owners and executives that reported the highest annual revenue for 2006.
The Center for Leadership at Florida International University and Commonwealth Institute of South Florida also issued a report with the rankings.
The survey analyzes characteristics of women who lead businesses in Florida, including strategies, business challenges, career history, personal motivation and leadership style, according the report.
