Reinsurance broker Guy Carpenter & Company, LLC said it has received awards for marketing and technology.

The firm said it was honored by the Insurance Marketing Communications Association (IMCA) and also received the 2007 Summit Awards for excellence in marketing its i-aXs online risk management platform.

The IMCA gave its best of show award to Guy Carpenter and The Halo Group, its brand development company. The two also received a silver and bronze award at the 2007 Summit Awards, the firm said.

According to the brokerage, i-aXs integrates timely data with the firm's risk analysis and catastrophe modeling capabilities to help insurance companies better use information to their strategic and operational advantage.

The technology platform, Guy Carpenter said, gives clients access to real-time exposure data and an innovative set of customizable imaging, tracking, analysis and reporting tools.

Guy Carpenter is a subsidiary of New York-based services firm Marsh & McLennan Companies.
