Agencies with the most effective sales organizations that also serve as true risk managers for their clients have until July 6 to enter the National Underwriter "Commercial Insurance Agency of the Year" award program.
Principals representing three agency finalists will win a trip to New York City, where NU's 2007 winner will be announced and given a trophy at a special ceremony on Sept. 21, with the remaining two finalists awarded a plaque for an Honorable Mention.
All three finalists will be profiled in the Sept. 24 edition.
In addition, the finalists will participate in a special "NU Roundtable" following the award presentation to discuss "The State of the Independent Agent," to be broadcast in NU's first virtual conference on Nov. 15. Highlights of the discussion will also appear in the Oct. 29 edition.
