The Professional Insurance Agents of New Jersey announced they awarded service awards to five recipients at the organization's annual conference held in Atlantic City.
Karen Burns, Stephen Tague, Patrick L. Lynch, Steven Reichman and Kenneth Auerbach were given awards.
Ms. Burns of Newton, N.J., received the Company Person of the Year award for her skill in “balancing the needs of the independent agent and her company.” The award is given to company representatives who best foster a sound working relationship between insurance agents and companies, PIANJ said.
Mr. Tague of Rockaway Township, N.J., was presented with the Director of the Year award. The award honors the hard work and dedication of a member from the board of directors who shows a “tireless commitment to PIANJ.”
The Community Service award was awarded to Mr. Lynch for demonstrating a significant commitment to improving the community.
Mr. Reichman earned a presidential citation, which is given on behalf of the industry, as chairman of the certified insurance counselors board of governors for “his loyalty and dedication to the insurance industry.”
The Distinguished Insurance Service award was received by Mr. Auerbach. The award is given to an individual who has established service, leadership and attention to the concerns of independent agents and clients.
