New York-based insurance broker Marsh said John C. Butcher has been appointed head of its Chicago office, managing more than 800 risk consultants and other staff.
Mr. Butcher has held leadership positions in the Midwest and Washington, D.C. for Marsh.
Timothy J. Mahoney Jr., chief executive officer-Americas for Marsh, said putting one person in charge of the region would strengthen the capabilities of the Chicago office and surrounding area.
