RVI Group announced that David A. Klanica has been appointed chief financial officer and executive vice president, replacing Joe Swain, who is leaving the company.
The firm said Mr. Klanica, who has over 30 years of experience, will be responsible for overseeing the Finance, Treasury and Information Technology groups. He will also report to Douglas H. May, president and chief executive officer of RVI Group.
Mr. Klanica's experience includes working as a vice president and CFO for Pitney Bowes Capital Services and as global technical controller for GE's Capital Commercial Equipment Financing Division. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
The RVI Group is a provider of residual value insurance. The company's products now include financial guaranty reinsurance, fidelity insurance and severance management. The group serves clients in Canada, the United States and Europe.
