Insurance Brokers & Agents of the West has partnered with LIG Marine Managers to provide members with access and expertise to marine and longshore insurance, IBA West said.
Under the partnership, IBA West members will have a dedicated Web portal for quick submission of their workers' compensation/longshore and maritime employer liability accounts.
Access will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Other benefits include accounts being reserved pending a full submission, receiving an indication of the premium on most accounts and having an LIG Underwriter assigned to help them through the process.
IBA West said other tools are also available to determine where the account belongs and information that should be submitted.
