ICT Insurance Agency Inc., a retail and wholesale insurance agency based in New Iberia, La., said it has changed its name to Regions Insurance.

The former ICT, now Regions, is part of Birmingham, Ala.-based bank Regions Financial Corporation. The bank serves customers in 16 states across the South, Midwest and Texas.

“The new, strong corporate identity accurately represents our company and leverages its strength of service to our clients and prospects,” William D. Quinlan, chairman and chief executive officer of ICT, said in a statement.

The agency has 14 locations in the state and more than 200 employees.

Regions Insurance in Louisiana is part of Regions Insurance Group. In addition to it's Louisiana subsidiary, the group operates Rebsamen Insurance, headquartered in Little Rock, Ark., and Regions Insurance Services, headquartered in Memphis, Tenn. It also operates insurance brokerage services in Tennessee, Texas, Missouri, Arkansas, Indiana, Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana.

According to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing, Regions Insurance Group offers all lines of personal, commercial, life, health and accident insurance.

The group produced $91 million in annual revenues through 30 offices in eight states in 2006.
