Columbus, Ohio-based insurance brokerage group Assurex Global has added an Indonesian brokerage to its partner list, PT. Mitra, Iswara & Rorimpandey (MIR) Insurance Brokers.
“Our mission as an organization is to support the best independent insurance brokers around the world with the programs and services they need to grow,” said John Rodwell, vice president of International Business Development for Assurex Global, in a statement.
Mr. Rodwell noted, “Assurex Global Partners traditionally enjoy annual growth rates of about 12 percent, with the top performers exceeding 25 percent. MIR even exceeded that level last year.”
Assurex Global said it invites only one independent broker per market to join the group.
MIR President and Director Djoko Gazali said the firm offers a full range of services including employee benefits, engineering, marine cargo, fire and property coverage, personal accident and motor vehicle protection.
Mr. Gazali added that MIR works with clients throughout Indonesia from a main office in Jakarta and branch locations in Surabaya, Semarang, Bandung and Denpasar Bali.
Founded in 1954, Assurex Global has 118 partner firms with more than 500 offices in 80 countries. It reports over $23 billion in annual premium volume.
