Daytona Beach, Fla.-based insurance broker Brown & Brown said it acquired United Employers Insurance Agency Inc. of Houston. The transaction details were not disclosed.
United Employers, with annualized revenues of approximately $1.3 million, is a retail insurance agency that focuses on commercial property-casualty insurance and the employee benefits needs of a wide range of clients throughout the state of Texas.
Paul Holland, president of United Employers, and staff will combine their operations with those of Brown & Brown's existing Houston office.
