oneShield, Inc., a provider of policy administration, automated business rules, and workflow solutions to the property/casualty insurance industry, has acquired the ebis insurance billing application from Mellon Financial Corporation to expand oneShield's Dragon product offering. ebis, or Electronic Billing Insurance System, is an integrated billing and accounts-receivable software application for property/casualty insurance.
