Sen. Joe Lieberman, Ind.-Conn., is scheduled to address members of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America during its Legislative Conference and Convention next month, the group announced.
The senator will be the featured speaker during a breakfast on April 26 and will be joined by House Minority Whip Roy Blunt, R-Mo., IIABA said. That evening House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Md., is due to speak at the large agent and broker and chief executive officer dinner.
This year's conference will take place April 25-27 at Washington's Marriott Wardman Park Hotel.
Sen. Lieberman is currently chairman of the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.
