Sandra S. Wijnberg, former chief executive officer of Marsh & McLennan Companies, has joined Jeff Greenberg at his New York-based investment firm Aquiline Holdings LLC as chief administrative officer.

Ms. Wijnberg was CFO from 2000 to 2006 at the New York-based professional services firm MMC where Mr. Greenberg served as chief executive officer until his ouster in 2004 after a probe of brokerage bid-rigging. MMC announced Ms. Wijnberg's resignation in late 2005. She remained until March 2006.

Prior to joining MMC, Ms. Wijnberg was a member of the board of directors of Tyco International Ltd. Earlier she was a senior vice president and treasurer for Yum! Brands Inc. and worked for Pepsico as senior vice president and CFO of its KFC Corporation.

Since its inception in 2005, Aquiline has participated in the creation of Bermuda reinsurer Validus Holdings Ltd. The investment firm was also one of four investment firms involved in the launch of Lloyd's-based underwriting agency Ark Syndicate Management Ltd., which was announced last week.
