CCC Information Services, a supplier of technology for the auto-claims industry, and AutoTrader.com announced an agreement that strengthens CCC's ability to provide fast and accurate local market values for total loss vehicles. Under the agreement, CCC will integrate AutoTrader.com's database of more than three million vehicle listings with the CCC Valuescope product. CCC Valuescope already includes data from more than 800,000 physically inspected vehicles and information on advertised vehicles from more than six million dealer and private ads. The AutoTrader.com data will be incorporated into CCC Valuescope beginning in April.
"CCC always is looking for ways to enhance its products and create more value for customers," says Mike Croxton, senior vice president of marketing and product management for CCC. "In working with AutoTrader.com we are expanding our database with information our customers are asking for, providing them with a clear view of available vehicles at the time of loss as well as the ability to better serve their insured."
