Loss adjuster McLarens Young International said it is opening a new operation in Mexico to capitalize on the growth in loss adjusting business in Latin America.
Based in the Polanco district of Mexico City, the new operation is named McLarens Young M?xico S.A. de C.V.
The Atlanta-based claims adjusting firm said the company already has established operations in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Panama and Venezuela.
Michael La-Band, who spent two years with McLarens Young International in London, where he became associate director of property and casualty claims, was named managing director for the Mexico operation.
McLarens Young International is an employee-owned firm with over 300 offices and affiliates in 84 countries.
