Boston-based auto insurer Plymouth Rock Assurance said it plans to reduce personal auto insurance rates by an average of 5.9 percent, with savings for some customers as high as 16 percent depending on the coverage options they select.
"We're committed to providing our independent agents with superior products for their customers," noted John Russell, Plymouth Rock's Connecticut marketing manager.
According to National Underwriter's Highline Data Service, Plymouth Rock is ranked 23rd in the state in terms of direct premium written. Allstate and Geico are the number one and two ranked insures in the state.
