The Los Angeles-based Latin American Agents Association said it will hold its annual convention and national conference in June in Long Beach, Calif.
The event will run June 14-17 at the Hyatt Regency Long Beach and Long Beach Convention Center.
Organizers said the event will feature a schedule of seminars and presentations, and a roster of exhibitors at a trade show June 16.
"For years, the LAAA has been urging our members to take market challenges seriously and prepare their businesses to compete in the 'new insurance world,'" said Gustavo Contreras, LAAA president. "This year, we want to show them that becoming a complete financial services center for their community is the only way they will be able to keep up."
Registration for the LAAA convention is open, and an "early bird" discount is available, as is special LAAA pricing for rooms at the Hyatt, the group said.
LAAA said convention information updates will be posted frequently on its Web site and reported in the association's monthly "Agenda Magazine."
