Grange Mutual Casualty Company announced that Michael “Mick” Parrott has been named board chairman.
Ed Billman, who has served as chairman since 1999, will continue to serve in the role of chairman emeritus. He has been a member of the Grange board of directors since 1987, the company said.
Mr. Parrott has been a member of the Grange board of directors since 1983. He is currently owner, chairman, president and chief executive officer of ICON International Inc. in Fort Wayne, Ind.
Grange said Mr. Parrott's career includes time with General Mills Inc., Essex International, Inland Steel Company, the U.S. Air Force and the Indiana Air National Guard. He holds an economics degree from Carleton College and an MBA from Stanford University.
