Reinsurance broker Guy Carpenter & Company, LLC, has named Ajay Junnarkar as its new chief financial officer, replacing Phil Petronis, who had been named chief operating officer for Marsh Products and Services Management.
Guy Carpenter is a subsidiary of New York-based professional services firm Marsh & McLennan Companies.
Mr. Junnarkar will report to David Spiller, chief executive officer of Guy Carpenter.
Prior to joining Guy Carpenter in 2006, Mr. Junnarkar was director in the strategic development group at MMC, where he worked closely with the firm's various operating companies to evaluate potential acquisitions. In addition, he was involved in developing operating company and overall MMC strategic plans.
