Sedgwick Claims Management Services Inc. in Memphis, Tenn., announced it has appointed Patrick L. Funck executive vice president, chief information officer of the North American claims and productivity management services organization.
As an executive vice president, Mr. Funck has also joined the Sedgwick CMS Executive Committee, the company said.
Mr. Funck was previously with Broadspire Services, where he was chief information officer. His eighteen-year career also includes executive positions at Zurich Financial Services and CNA Financial Corp.
CMS President and Chief Executive Officer David A. North said claims technology excellence is critical to the continuing development of Sedgwick CMS and the company looks forward to Mr. Funck's contributions "to the value and enrichment of our service offerings for clients and claimants, and to the productivity and convenience of our work environment for colleagues."
