Richard Bucknall, vice chairman of Willis Group Holdings Limited and chairman and chief executive officer of Willis Limited, the firm's United Kingdom business, is retiring, according to Willis.
Mr. Bucknall will retire March 31 after a 40-year career in the insurance broking business, the London-headquartered firm announced. He began his career with Willis in 1986. He will continue in an advisory role through the end of the year, Willis said.
David Margrett, maintaining his role as CEO of Willis' Global Specialities unit, will assume the roles of chairman and CEO of Willis Limited upon Mr. Bucknall's retirement.
