The Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America said their Trusted Choice branding campaign has added State Auto Insurance Companies as the program's 42nd company member.
Founded in 1921, State Auto, based in Columbus, Ohio, offers personal and business insurance through 3,000 independent agencies in 27 states.
The Trusted Choice branding effort, launched in 2001 by Alexandria, Va.-based IIABA and several independent agency carriers, highlights the benefits independent agencies and brokerage firms offer consumers: choice of companies, customization of policies and advocacy support.
