AIR Worldwide Corporation (AIR), a risk modeling company for clients managing the financial impact of catastrophes and weather, has released CLASIC/2, a risk management modeling system. The 8.5 version includes AIR ExportExpress, a tool that simplifies the export of company exposure and loss data.
ExportExpress now enables users without knowledge of SQL to export data from CLASIC/2 for reporting and analysis purposes. Insurers can also determine loss costs by exporting exposure and average annual loss together in a single file.
Enhancements have been made to AIR ImportExpress, a tool that aids the import of exposure data into the CLASIC/2 and CATStation systems. It now includes options for checking control totals and address validation, so the systems can automatically correct data that users would otherwise have to check and correct manually.
