Kaplan Financial, a provider of education and compliance solutions to the insurance and financial services regulatory markets, has announced the first release of its Compliance Management System Generation 2, a Web-enabled system designed to provide workflow support for the licensing, appointment request, and registration processes associated with insurance producers.

CMS G2 aims to help companies enforce state and federal compliance requirements. It also can allow carriers to get their producers actively selling products sooner and without interruption.

CMS G2 will enable electronic data exchange among producers, carriers, agencies, broker/dealers, and regulatory entities. The software will integrate seamlessly the critical tasks and workflow associated with managing the producer/representative life cycle by automating and streamlining five key areas within a firm in a single, integrated system: new hire processing; licensing, registration, and appointment processing; broker/dealer or agency/insurance company data exchange; compliance maintenance; and evidence of insurance continuing education completion.
