The Captive Insurance Council of the District of Columbia said it will host a networking breakfast, featuring Joseph M. Palmer, assistant vice president and actuary for Insurance Services Office.
Mr. Palmer will discuss the use of ISO policy forms for captives and risk retention groups.
The meeting is scheduled for Nov. 8, at the University Club, 16th Street, NW, in Washington, D.C.
Jersey City, N.J.-based ISO provides policy forms and actuarial services to the property-casualty insurance industry and its forms are viewed as the industry standard. According to CIC-DC, the policy forms are an excellent tool for captives and RRGs.
The breakfast is $35 for CIC-DC members and $45 for nonmembers. More information is available from Erica Massey at emassey@dccaptives.org, or 202-463-8163. The council site is www.dccaptives.org.
