AIR Worldwide Corp., Boston, has expanded its office facilities in Hyderabad, India, to enable continued company growth, the modeling firm said.

AIR Information Technology, a subsidiary of AIR, has doubled its office space to accommodate a significant planned increase in the size of its workforce. AIT's mission includes research and analysis for AIR's catastrophe models, software development and client support.

"As we continue to grow to meet the evolving needs of our clients, expansion in Hyderabad is essential," said Karen Clark, president and chief executive officer of AIR, who was at the office in India to mark the occasion.

"Our largest office outside of Boston, Hyderabad provides AIR with mission critical support in all phases of our model and software development," said Ms. Clark.

In addition to model and software development, the Hyderabad office conducts support functions such as quality assurance, geographical information systems support and documentation.
