Have you ever felt a burning desire to let NU's editor-in-chief, Sam Friedman, really have it after disagreeing with the point of view expressed in his weekly editorial column, but just didn't get any satisfaction out of mailing, faxing or even e-mailing a response?
Now's your chance to talk back as often and as quickly as you would like, as Mr. Friedman is launching a blog on Sept. 5 at www.property-casualty.com.
On the blog, Mr. Friedman will post each week's column from NU's print edition and invite responses. Over the course of the week, he will also comment on breaking news stories as they occur.
His blog will also post a question from time to time to launch a debate about a key industry development or trend. In addition, he'll call attention to stories appearing on NU's daily online news service or in the newsmagazine, inviting readers to comment while encouraging ideas for subsequent articles.
Mr. Friedman will solicit feedback on the magazine and Web site in general via the blog, and invite readers to submit story leads–either privately to his e-mail (sfriedman@nuco.com) or posted publicly on the blog to solicit further reaction.
Readers will be able to post responses to what other blog readers say online, as well.
When Mr. Friedman takes to the field to cover industry seminars, conferences and conventions, he will post news from the event on his blog.
