SunGard has announced the launch of iWORKS FrontTier 6.5, a new version of SunGard's policy administration solution that incorporates advances in integration, report generation, Web enablement, business process modeling, and service-oriented architecture.
FrontTier is an end-to-end solution for property/casualty policy administration, including quotes, claims processing, billing, and accounting. FrontTier 6.5 builds on a set of features and functionality to provide a greater degree of interoperability through a Web-services architecture and offers rapid implementation capabilities, helping improve speed to market.
FrontTier 6.5 provides a new front-end layout design that eliminates the need for a team of developers to design and code custom front-end screens. Combined with user level APIs for accessing business rules, business analysts now are empowered to develop Web portals for their business needs. Through FrontTier's development model, users can benefit from shortened development cycles, which can reduce the costs typically associated with custom system application projects.
