Whitehill Technologies has begun shipping the latest version of IStream Publisher, an integral part of the InSystems product line that focuses on speed to market for the insurance industry.
Whitehill acquired InSystems in June, joining two insurance technology vendors with complementary technologies. Whitehill's InSystems line manages the product life cycle from initial drafting of contract language through approvals and policy issuance, helping insurers bring new products to market more quickly.
IStream Publisher 3.2 aims to simplify operations for administrative and IT staff. A Web-based console provides the ability to configure and administer the software remotely, making it easier to adapt to changing business volumes and demands. This release also features a new Web services interface that supports insurance companies adopting service-oriented architecture for increased IT agility.
The software gives insurers control over document production and fulfillment. It includes predefined services for retrieval, assembly, rendering, delivery, and storage, plus it allows users to define custom services.
