David B. Ripsom has been named president and chief executive officer of Nuclear Electric Insurance Limited, the company said.
Mr. Ripsom succeeds Quentin Jackson, who is retiring after 33 years with the insurer.
Mr. Ripsom joined NEIL management in 1994. He had more than 20 years experience as a business lawyer in private practice before joining.
NEIL, a provider of insurance to the nuclear industry, is a Bermuda-based mutual insurance company and is licensed as an Industrial Captive Insurance Company in Wilmington, Del., where its headquarters are located. NEIL has annual written premiums in excess of $250 million.
