Q.Know Technologies, Inc., a provider of enterprise software for the financial services market, announced the launch of version 2.1, which the company claims offers ease-of-use for comprehensive document identification, retrieval, organization, and management. Q.Know v. 2.1 enhances intelligent tagging and brings flexibility to create individualized views of all electronic information without altering core database systems or networked file structures.
The new release allows individual users to customize the presentation of all companywide information within Microsoft Outlook. Users can create a comprehensive view of all electronic information across their organization tailored directly to how they use information.
The introduction of version 2.1 advances two of Q.Know's core functional areas--intelligent tagging and information retrieval/organization. Rather than recreating document profiles or tagging files each time they enter the system, all document types either instantly inherit tagging attributes based on the project in which they reside or are quickly assigned tags with a couple of key strokes. Q.Know maintains permanent associations across documents, spreadsheets, e-mail, presentations, etc., to transfer document profiles instantly among like items, housing them in discreet working projects/real-time files.
