AMS Services has announced the debut of SETWrite, software that enables agents to access rates from and submit insurance data to multiple carriers in real time through single-entry transactions. With more than 30 carriers in production and 15 additional carriers in development, SETWrite provides real-time carrier connectivity.

When Maine Mutual Group (MMG) implemented SETWrite, the carrier experienced an immediate and high rate of adoption among its agency force, averaging more than 300 transactions per day, according to Steven D. Chandler, vice president of MMG?. "AMS Services worked diligently with our quality control personnel to ensure a quality release," says Chandler. "MMG is pleased with a rating success ratio of more than 95 percent since the deployment of SETWrite to [our] agency force."

The product addresses the challenge of achieving an efficient process of quoting new business through better connectivity to more carriers, streamlined workflow, and enhanced ease of use. Agents enter information once into a single Web interface and receive rates and related information directly from participating carriers in real time. This single-entry process allows for increased agent productivity and efficiency and a higher level of client satisfaction.

"SETWrite 3.0 is an exciting release not only for agents but carriers, as well," says Bill Bunker, senior vice president of product management and marketing at AMS. "Not only does this release increase agent productivity allowing for more time to focus on clients, but it also provides carriers an efficient means of writing more business with their agents." The final release of SETWrite 3.0 will be available in the first half of Q3 2006.
