The head of the Government Accountability Office will speak at the annual American Academy of Actuaries luncheon tomorrow in Washington, D.C.
The all-day Academy annual meeting will take place at the Washington Grand Hyatt Hotel, the association said.
U.S. Comptroller General David Walker, also head of the GAO, will headline the luncheon.
Included on the agenda will be sessions on principles-based approaches to valuation and early warning signals, and actuarial equivalence under the Medicare Prescription Drug Benefit in the first year of the program.
