Two major U.S. industry research and education groups said they will co sponsor the upcoming conference of the Insurance Association of the Caribbean dealing with natural disaster topics.
The IAC meeting June 4-7 at Montego Bay, Jamaica will be have sponsorship of LOMA and LIMRA International and will replace the annual LIMRA/LOMA conference for senior executives from financial services organizations based in, or with operations in, the Caribbean, the groups said.
Sessions at the Ritz-Carlton Golf & Spa Resort, Rose Hall will deal with natural disaster management, disaster reinsurance market effects and business continuation when facing a disaster and other topics.
Organizers said the Caribbean Insurance Conference will feature a mix of general sessions, breakouts, panel discussions and networking opportunities.
Those attending include chief executives, administration executives, heads of marketing, distribution, and information technology and top regional producers
