Insurance marketers from around the globe will have the opportunity to showcase their marketing achievements in the upcoming Showcase Awards competition sponsored by the Insurance Marketing Communications Association.

The competition, in its 48th year, consists of 35 categories–including advertising, sales promotion, multimedia campaigns, TV/radio, the Internet, employee communications, annual reports, e-commerce, community service and public relations.

The competition is open to all companies and firms involved in both the property-casualty and life-health insurance segments. Entrants need not be members of IMCA to enter. Winners will be announced at IMCA's annual meeting, June 25-28, at the Mark Hopkins Hotel in San Francisco.

“This recognition platform permits marketers to share, compare and learn from best practices in insurance marketing,” according to IMCA's past president, Nanci Evarts, of Marketing Strategies Group, who serves on the Showcase Awards Committee.

“We seek to highlight the important contributions marketing and communications efforts make to our companies' bottom lines…public image and corporate culture,” she added.
